3 May 2025 - Tapestry weaving introduction workshop - IN PERSON

On the 3rd of May, we will receive Guida Fonseca to guide another exceptional workshop at Saber Fazer: Introduction to Tapestry Weaving.

From traditional to contemporary Tapestry, several transformations took place that gave it a new status and function, assuming itself as a territory and tool of plastic expression. The tapestry maker is not only a skilled performer, but also a creator and performer.

With decades of experience in professional training in the area of Tapestry and Weaving, Guida Fonseca stands out not only for her vast knowledge within the subject of textile fibers, but for being an advocate of well-structured and quality technical knowledge. laying a solid foundation for continuous learning.
This workshop will last 7 hours, and the goal is to transmit the basics of the complex art that is Tapestry.
The cost of the workshop includes all the raw materials to be used and the loan of an individual loom.
