Louet's S10 is a "concept wheel" with a modular approach that has been created to allow each spinner to create their dream wheel. To choose your wheel, first select the tension system you prefer (Irish or Scotch), then the number of treadles (one treadle or two) and finally the type of wheel (classic, 3-spoke or 5-spoke). In general, a wheel with the ‘irish’ system will be more suited to spinning thick yarns, while a wheel with the ‘scotch’ system is more suited to spinning thin yarns. All wheels include a flyer with sliding hooks, 3 bobbins and a built-in lazy kate. Louet's equipment is known for its extreme quality and durability, and these wheels are no exception.
