Indigo pigment

Powdered indigo pigment of botanical origin from Indigofera tinctoria, produced in India. This pigment is perfect for creating indigo vats, shibori dyeing or paint making.

Indigo does not require any mordanting.

For those who are working with indigo in a completely organic way, without the use of chemical reducing agents, we also have available Calcium Hydroxide and Henna powder to assist in creating a beautiful 1-2-3 organic vat.
