Our carbon steel felting needles are perfect for any felting job, just choose the right model.
They are available individually or in sets of 3, 12, 25, 50 and 100 needles.
Which needle to choose? See our instructions below and if you need help, send us a message.
n36 / triangle needle
This type of needle is suitable for use with thick to medium wools when you want to do more general modelling or create basic shapes. It's a suitable needle for attaching pieces and large surfaces.
n38 / twisted needle (most versatile)
This is the most versatile type of needle! It's perfect for use with fine wools. Ideal for distributing the wool evenly and in detail. Being twisted, it is much more resistant than straight needles.
n40 / twisted needle
A fine needle for detail work and obtaining an even surface. It should not be used with thick fibres or for more general modelling work. It is a universal needle for fine wools, when you want to model details and make appliqués.
32R needle / reverse barb
These needles have the barbs arranged in the opposite direction, which causes them to pull the fibres outwards. They are ideal for creating fluffy surfaces.
They are available individually or in sets of 3, 12, 25, 50 and 100 needles.
