This course was designed for those who want to learn all about wool processing, from sheep to yarn.
We'll start with the processes that influence wool's quality and by evaluating raw wool fleeces, from the whole fleece to the fibre.
Next, we'll learn about the principles of washing wool, using practical methods with an eye on saving water and energy. Washing wool is one of the most delicate steps and the one where mistakes are most often made, so we'll be rigorous with this part.
It's no secret that wool is one of our great passions, so this will be a day of sharing and total immersion in this wonderful fibre, starting with the raw wool and ending with the yarn.
