Bockens cotton seine twine for tapestry warp

Resistant and elastic cotton seine twine, suitable for warping tapestry looms. Tapestry warps require a special yarn that can withstand high tensions but is especially elastic, so that it retains its shape during work.
This yarn is produced by Bockens from long-fibre Egyptian cotton which, when combined with an extra tight twist, creates an exceptionally strong and soft yarn.

Sold in balls of 50gr.
50g of the thicker 12/6 yarn contains 164.5 metres of yarn.
50g of the thinner 20/6 yarn has 261.5 metres of yarn.
