29 March 2025 - Basket Weaving Workshop - IN-PERSON

On the 29 of March 2025, Rosa and Manuel Oliveira will guide a Basket Weaving workshop in Saber Fazer.
Each participant must complete 1 or 2 baskets from scratch, and it is through the execution of these pieces that they will learn about the basic principles of Basketry, executing the bases, and learning different techniques for weaving the sides, ends and handles. In this workshop, we will also learn how to use molds as a basis for creating baskets of different shapes and sizes.
Rosa and Manuel have been professional basket weavers for several decades, working in this craft full time and with whom we have collaborated for more than 10 years.
