Calcium Carbonate

Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is used in natural dyeing as an assistant to raise the pH of solutions. It is a milder alkalizing agent than calcium hydroxide.
It is available in 100gr bags. It is advisable to use a mask and gloves when handling this powder, as being thin and light it is easily inhalable.
