Potassium alum
The Alum (KAl(SO4)2) is a metallic salt and the most commonly used mordant in natural dyeing.
In natural dyeing, the mordant has the function of enabling the chemical bond between the fibers and the dye, improving the color fastness and intensity.
It is available in bags of 100gr, 500gr and 1Kg.
